Yes, even the most recently announced M4 GTS with about 460 water injecon cooled horsepower, hails from that hallowed locaon. Through the connec ons of our Performance Center hosts, our group was fortunate enough to be able to visit this marvel-‐ ous facility. The “ back parking lot ” was jam packed with developmen-‐ tal BMW models in full camouﬂage. Unfortunately, there were no photographs al-‐ lowed and our es-‐ corts kept a very close eye on eve-‐ ryone to ensure that there were no misinterpreta ons of the word “ NO ”. We were kept to a brisk walking pace as we passed them so there was no peaking inside the cars > Continued on page 5 We all have a quest of some form; for the group Monty Python, it was the Holy Grail. For some of us, it may be the common quests for sex, power, or money. But, for those of us who are truly passionate about “ The Ulmate Driving Machine ”, maybe our quest is the most re-‐ cent “ spy photo ” of an upcoming model of BMW screaming around the Nur-‐ burgring at breakneck speeds. Ever wonder where the most interes ng of those new BMW mod-‐ els, the Motorsport models, originate? They origi-‐ nate at BMW M a short distance outside of Munich.
