This is a jammed packed Breeze this month, so I’ll keep this column short. Highlights from the 25th Anniversary of the Yokohama/Tire Rack Challenge included: *Driving my friend Jen’s sweet 435i in the autocross. I wasn’t competitive and finished mid-pack, but wow I can get addicted to the newer BMWs torque! *Seeing Larry Kull again and hearing the Yokohama folks were double booked for the event, and they all showed up at the Challenge! Because. We. Are. Fun! *Getting to school a few folks on Saturday, because I like to share knowledge. Some of them even let me drive some sweet rides in return. *Friday dumpster dinner at Super 8. You’d have to be there to really understand. Thanks, Speed Wrench Racing! What did they do with all the leftover food!? *Talking with Matt Edmonds, from Tire Rack, and all around great guy. *Seeing lots of friends that I just don’t get to see often enough. Especially the one with the broken wing – get better soon! *Let’s do it again next year, Tire Rack and Yokohama are interested in keeping the tradition alive. June 2-3, 2018 Happy Motoring
